New Starters 2024

If your child is 5 before the start of the spring term, they will start full-time with us in September.

Children who are 5 after the start of the spring term have the option to attend school full-time from September or attend on a part-time basis (mornings only) until the term in which they turn 5.

Please contact the School Office if you would like to arrange a visit via admin@elmsettschool.co.uk

or call 01473 658303 to book your place and for more information.

Pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)

When considering children with complex needs, we would welcome a visit from the family to discuss our setting and how we may best be able to accommodate your child's needs to enable them to flourish.

Early Years New Starters 2024 Visiting Days

We welcome the opportunity for our new starters to come into school and meet their new teachers and class friends. This will also provide them time to become familiar with their new school and classroom.

Children will enjoy an active day with opportunities to play inside and outside, therefore they should come wearing suitable clothing for activities such as painting, bike riding, climbing and our mud kitchen! (No sandals or open toed shoes) It is not necessary for them to be in school uniform but they will need a sun hat and a named water bottle.  We will provide a fruit snack.

Our Induction Days:

Monday 10th June:   1.30pm - 3pm

Tuesday 18th June:  9am - 11.30pm

Friday 28th June:     9am - 12.30pm  to include lunch.

9am - 9.30am  Parent Meeting with Mrs Ross, Robins Class Teacher.

All children are to come to school via the school front playground where you will be met by our teaching staff.  Parking is available in the Village Hall car park.

Elmsett School Bookbags are available to purchase for £6 and can be collected at the meeting on 28th June.  These bookbags are preferred as they are easier for the children to use.
