Admissions 2024 - 2025

Was your child born between 1st September 2019 and 31st August 2020?

If so, they will be starting school in September 2024

Parents with children born between 1st September 2019 and 31st August 2020 must apply for a reception place at a primary or infant school by 15 January 2024. Children normally attend school full-time in reception year group the September following their fourth birthday. All primary schools must offer children a full-time place at the start of the Autumn term in September. However, legally they do not have to start full-time education until the term after their fifth birthday. Whatever you decide, it is important that you apply for an infant or primary place by the closing date.

The Suffolk County Council website provides details of Reception age admission arrangements. These include the selection and over subscription criteria, a statement of our current published admission number (PAN), and the process for applications.
