The children enjoyed an Assembly about Bee Keeping
Miss Simmons, our TA talked to Hedgehogs and Otters Class about her hobby of Bee Keeping. She showed the children how bees are kept and where they take the pollen they have collected. She brought in the clothes she wears and the equipment she uses to make the bees sleepy while she collects the honey.
The children had the chance to try some honey, which they enjoyed. They also wrote about what they had learnt about Bees.
